- Guiding Pinciples: We follow the guidelines set by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) in exercise and fitness programming. Each training program is individualized to meet your personal goals based on your risk factors/orthopedic limitations, your level of fitness, your goals and interests.
- Programming Methodology: We adopt a methodology in progression, variation, periodization, cross training, functionality and injury prevention with a balance in muscular strength & endurance, cardiovascular fitness and flexibility.
- Customization & Prioritization: In addition to building lean muscle and losing fat, a fitness training program is custom-designed to improve posture, balance opposing muscles, increase flexbility and range of motion by:
- training upper body, lower body and core area for a balanced total-body fitness,
- training both front & back of muscle groups for balance,
- training both left & right sides of muscle groups for balance,
- training large muscle groups first & then small/assisting muscles,
- training with compound exercises first & then isolation exercises,
- priority-training weak, underdeveloped or imbalanced muscle groups,
- priority-training hard-to-see-by-yourself muscle groups.
